Mobile Metered Concrete Delivery Service

Maddox Concrete Company, Inc. delivers concrete to contractors and homeowners using our mobile concrete mixer trucks. Our trucks produce concrete using the Volumetric mixing method. The trucks store the ingredients on board in separate bins as opposed to being mixed at a central batch plant. Once the truck arrives at the jobsite, the ingredients are volumetrically mixed by a chain feed system. The ingredients are then mixed in a screw auger during the concrete placement. Volumetric mixing concrete is based on quantity not on weight.  Our concrete is mixed and metered at the customer's jobsite.

There is a one yard minimum for delivery North of the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal.  There is a 2 yard minimum for delivery, South of the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal, Maryland and Pennsylvania area. After delivery, our drivers print out a ticket for the quantity of concrete poured.  We look forward to growing with you in 2011!

Hydraulic telescoping chutes

Our hydraulic telescoping chutes are an advantage over the ordinary rear discharge chutes. The mixer operator can place the concrete where the customer wants it without the need for a "chute man". The chutes swing hydraulically and can telescope out an additional 6' for a total reach of 18' 6". These chutes reduce the amount of wheel barrowing and raking of concrete.

Feel free to call for an estimate or calculation on the amount of concrete for your project. Below you will find some basic calculations to get you started.

• One cubic yard of concrete at 4' depth will cover 80 sq. ft.
• One cubic yard of concrete at 6' depth will cover 60 sq. ft.
• One cubic yard of concrete will fill @ 10 holes, 12" in diameter and 3' deep.
